Description of Service

Kid Care Finder is a directory of licensed childcare providers serving Westchester, Fairfield, Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess, and Orange counties. We help parents find and contact local childcare providers. We also offer featured listing services for providers.

For Parents

• Our service is free for parents. There are no fees to browse, search, or contact providers.
• Provider listings include information from public state licensing databases and publicly available business data.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of any provider information, ratings, or reviews. Always verify directly with the provider.
• We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of any childcare services. Always conduct your own due diligence, including verifying licenses and visiting facilities in person.

For Providers

• Free listings are created from public licensing data. Providers may claim their listing at no cost.
• Featured listings are available for a monthly or annual subscription fee, processed through Stripe.
• Featured listing subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 7 days of purchase for refund requests.
• We reserve the right to remove or suspend any listing that contains false information or violates these terms.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit false or misleading information through our forms
• Scrape or automatically collect data from our website
• Use our service for spam, harassment, or illegal purposes
• Impersonate another person or business
• Attempt to access admin or provider dashboards without authorization

Intellectual Property

The Kid Care Finder website, including its design, code, and original content, is owned by us. Provider data sourced from public licensing databases remains in the public domain. Google ratings and review counts are sourced from the Google Places API and belong to Google LLC.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Kid Care Finder is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that our service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information is accurate or complete.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kid Care Finder and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use our service.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
