Early camp deadlines for summer 2027

Discounts that end this fall and winter, and the days registration opens, for camps in Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess, Fairfield, and New Haven counties.

By Alex Colombo, Kid Care Finder · Last checked October 12, 2026

Some camps take money off for families who sign up early, and a few of those offers end in October and November, long before summer feels close. Others open registration on a set day and time. If a camp on this list is already on yours, its early price may be worth locking in now.

Every date below comes from the camp's own website and is quoted in the camp's words, so you can see exactly what is promised. Discount deadlines and registration openings are marked separately: a discount deadline is the last day for the lower price, and a registration opening is the first day you can sign up.

Coming up first

  • Prices go up after Oct. 31: JCC Camps at the Lewis JCC (West Nyack), discount deadline
  • October 31: Surprise Lake Camp (Cold Spring), discount deadline
  • October 31: The Nature Place Day Camp (Chestnut Ridge), early-bird extra ends

Early dates, soonest first

Confirm the date and price with the camp before you pay. Many early offers apply only to new families, full-summer sign-ups, or payment in full.

How we keep this list

We include a date only when the camp prints it on its own website, and we link that page. Vague timing, such as “registration opens in January,” is left out. When a camp prints only the month and day, the table says so. Dates that have passed come off the list. Last checked October 12, 2026.
