Curriculum
The center follows the NAEYC educational model and is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. At circle time, preschoolers practice literacy and number concepts and choose activities such as art, creative play, cooking, science, math, and music.
Infant care
Infants receive individualized, one-on-one care and are kept on their own feeding and diapering schedules, with educational toys that support hand-eye coordination, balance, and sensory development, plus stroller walks around the property when weather permits.
Toddler care
Toddlers work on self-help skills such as dressing, potty training, and hand washing, and build language and social skills through stories, art, music, and play.
Meals
A morning and afternoon snack are provided for toddlers.
Daily routine
Children enjoy outdoor play twice a day, weather permitting, and daily reports and photos are shared with families through the Kangaroo app.
Safety
Every teacher completes a thorough background check before hiring, all staff are certified in Pediatric CPR and Pediatric First Aid, a senior staff member is on duty during all operating hours, and a registered nurse visits weekly and is on call for emergencies.
Assessments
Developmental assessments (CT DOTS and ASQ) are completed twice a year alongside parent/teacher conferences, and referral services for children with special needs are available.
